Your files stay on your Mac.

PinnaPetta processes files entirely on your Mac. It never uploads them.

What PinnaPetta doesn’t collect

No account or password is required. The app has no advertising identifiers, usage analytics or automatic crash uploads. File conversion and editing happen locally; link downloads use a separate downloader to retrieve media from its source platform.

Network access

When you request a link download, PinnaPetta sends that link directly to the source platform and connects to the platform’s media delivery servers to retrieve the video or audio. Those services receive normal connection information, such as your IP address. PinnaPetta doesn’t send your local files to them and doesn’t read your browser cookies. The downloaded media is processed on your Mac.

The optional update check retrieves pinnapetta.com/appcast.xml and may download an app update when requested. Update checks include app and macOS version information. You can turn automatic checks off in Settings ▸ Updates.

Purchases and licensing

Stripe processes payment information. Our licensing service stores your purchase email, payment reference, license status and device authorization records. Activation sends a product-specific device identifier, a device public key, and the app build number. It does not send your files. Signed authorization is stored in your Mac’s Keychain and refreshes automatically when online, allowing up to 30 days offline.

Supabase hosts the licensing service and database. Resend delivers purchase, recovery and transfer emails. Cloudflare hosts this website and installer downloads. These services process connection and operational records needed to deliver and secure the service. License keys and recovery credentials are not placed in analytics or public logs.

Data stored on your Mac

Your settings, and a list of recent activity with the names and locations of results, plus source links and selected formats for download jobs, are kept in your user Library. To remove them, choose Clear History in Activity, or delete ~/Library/Application Support/com.pinnapetta.PinnaPetta.

This website

This website uses no advertising or analytics trackers and loads its fonts locally. Purchase and recovery flows use essential, secure session cookies and browser session storage. Payment details are entered on Stripe’s hosted checkout.
